597,424. Gas cooking-stoves. RADIATION, Ltd., TWIGG, W. R., and STRINGER, W. L. July 16, 1945, No. 18154. [Class 126] A gas cooker construction comprises a rectangular skeleton framework made from a single pair of rectangular side frames interconnected by cross-bars and extended at their lower ends to form legs, a one-piece sheet metal oven adapted to be inserted through and carried by the front of the framework, and a grill chamber formed by a dished sheet metal part mounted in the upper end of the framework. The assembled framework members a, b, c and e carry back-plates d and h, the member e being hollow and fitted with taps f. The oven i is screwed to the framework through flanges j positioned between hinge parts n and is formed with a pocket m for a thermostat and an outlet k which co-operates with a similar outlet in the back-plate d. The dished sheet metal grill chamber rests on top of the framework by means of flanges and is formed with a front opening. Front panels are mounted above and below the oven which is covered with heat insulation, and side panels complete the structure.
