[Class 64 (iii)] [Also in Group XXIX] A heat-exchanger adapted to be applied to manually operated liquid spray guns comprises a metal block 9 having parallel channels 10 which are connected with one another to form two channel systems by means of recesses 11 formed in the ends of the block and end plates 12 and 13 or covers closing the ends of the block. The channels are formed in groups so that the heat exchange fluids pass up and down the block several times and each of the recesses b, d, g, i, k has a smaller flow area than the total flow area of the channel groups a, c, e, f, h, j, l. An insulating, sleeve 19 may be provided round the exchanger.
