Abstract

592,686. Distribution boards and panels. RADIO & TELEVISION TRUST, Ltd., [formerly PHILCO RADIO & TELEVISION CORPORATION OF GREAT BRITAIN, Ltd.), and VAUFROUARD, C. P. V. May 24, 1945, No. 13014. [Class 38 (i)] A terminal tag 12 comprises a soldering lug 20 split longitudinally at 16 to form a wirereceiving slot 17, the branches being offset in mutually opposite directions relative to the plane of the lug. The tag, preferably sheetmetal, is secured edgewise to an insulating panel by one or more integral projections 14 in the plane of the tag. In Fig. 4 a panel 10 has slots 11 into which the projections 14 on the tags are inserted and expanded at 15 to secure them, and wires from a device c are received in the slots 17. The tags may have more than one terminal as at 21a and 21b, Fig. 5. Alternatively, one or more of the tags may be provided with an extension formed as a securing lug, Fig. 2 (not shown), for mounting the panel.
