Class 103 (i)] A brake for perambulators and like vehicles which is applied by spring action and is released by a rotary movement of the handle of the vehicle comprises a pin g slidable in a casing R fixed to the wheel axle e and having a reduced end f which is urged by a spring in the casing, to enter one of a number of holes in the spoke disc d or, as shown, in a plate a secured, as by screws, to the disc d. The pin can be withdrawn from the disc or plate by a cable h the other end of which is attached to the rotatable handle by which the vehicle is propelled. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 16366/13, 273,500, [both in Class 103 (i)], and 361,549.
