Abstract

569,733. Dispensing containers for small articles. DUELL, E. B. June 23, 1943, No. 10148. [Class 18] A dispensing container for tablets or other small articles, e.g. of a disc-like nature, comprises a sliding lid 11 with a flange 14 at one end depending nearly to the bottom of the container, a recess being formed at one end to correspond in shape with a projection 15 on a side wall, and a spur 16 extending rearwardly from the end of the flange 14. When the lid is closed a recess is formed by projections 15, spur 16, the walls 10, 12 and the bottom of the container into which a predetermined number of articles can move. When the lid is opened as far'as stop 18 this recess becomes shut off from the interior of the container while its top is open so that the contents can be removed. U.S.A.
