Abstract

504,340. Vacuum - cleaner nozzles. ELECTROLUX, Ltd. Nov. 22, 1938, No. 33942. Convention date, Nov. 24, 1937. [Class 8 (i)] The nozzle of a vacuum cleaner is fitted with a reversible accessory comprising a plate having an aperture to correspond with the suction mouth; each face provides a working too], and at least one face provides a mouth larger than the nozzle. The plate may be formed of two sheets riveted together, one being turned over at the rim to receive the brush 18 or a felt strip. The plate is secured to the nozzle by bolts 22. 23 formed with alternative jaws gripping the nozzle, one bolt being retractable by a spring.
