[Class 131] A safety razor for shaving arm-pits &c. comprises a rotary cutter f having radial slots g and disposed between a toothed guard-plate c and a cover-plate k having teeth m extending, like the teeth d of the plate c, parallel to a diameter of the rotary cutter. An electric motor drives the spindle a of the rotary cutter, which may be housed in a recess in the guardplate. The tips of the teeth m of the coverplate k extend beyond the teeth of the cutter.
