[Class 20 (i)] [Also in Group XXVIII] Tubular metal sections for posts are joined together by providing tubular sections of cylindrical formation with upwardly converging integral tapered portions 3 which have long-pitch screw threads 7 expressed therefrom and adapted to be received within a screw threaded tapered socket 4 disposed at the lower end of the adjoining section. The upper tubular member is adapted to receive a screwed sleeve 8 with depending arms 9 and a clamp 12 for carrying insulators or the like.
