Abstract

494,649. Regulating. CESKOSLOVENSKA ZBROJOVKA AKCIOVA SPOLECNOST BRNO. March 26, 1938, No. 9349. Convention date, March 26, 1937. [Class 7 (vi)] [Also in Group XXVIII] In a radial-cylinder Diesel engine having a master connecting-rod 3 and auxiliary rods 6 to auxiliary cylinders, the master cylinder is supplied with less fuel at high loads than the auxiliary cylinders, in order to prevent overheating. As shown, each cylinder has an injection pump 8 driven by a cam 12. The releasing edges a of the injection plungers g for supplying the auxiliary cylinders are steeper than the edge a of the plunger 10 supplying the master cylinder, so that as the load increases, the master cylinder receives relatively less fuel.
