Abstract

In an electron oscillator, which comprises an electron-discharge tube arranged within the pole-pieces of a permanent magnet, the magnet may consist of an alloy of 63 per cent of iron, 20 per cent of nickel, 12 per cent of aluminium, and 5 per cent of cobalt.
