Abstract

483,939. Toothbrushes. DEUTSCH, A. A. Feb. 17, 1937, No. 4754. [Class 19] Relates to toothbrushes having short heads of U-form providing two lateral brush heads 2 for the side surfaces of the teeth and a central head 3 for the top of the teeth, and consists in providing the lateral brushes of arcuate form the end bundles of bristles 5<1> being longer than the middle bundles 5 and being set at an angle to the axis of the brush. The bristles 4 on the central part 3 are convex or roof-shaped. The lateral heads 2 may be connected to the central part 3 by bent portions 1 to provide resilience, and the brush handle may be connected to the central part 3 at about the middle thereof. The lateral heads 2 may be oval in shape and may be curved in cross-section.
