477,140. Carrier cycles. PICCHI, E., and GHINASSI, P. May 18, 1937, No. 13899. Convention date, May 15, 1936. [Class 136 (iii)] In a pedal or engine propelled carrier bicycle, the rear driving wheel is of a smaller diameter than the front wheel, and a carrier platform is arranged over the rear wheel. The frame 1 is of sheet-metal, tubular, or other construction, and the carrier platform 5 is supported' from the lower fork or stay 4 by four downwardly-converging struts 6. The front of the platform 5 is connected to the saddle support by two upwardly-converging struts 7, which are supported from the crank bracket by struts 8, the front end of the platform being also connected to the fork 4 by tie-rods 9.
