Abstract

474,739. Valve generating circuits. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd., and BELL, D. A. May 6, 1936, No. 24971 /35. [Class 40 (v)] Synchronizing voltages from a transformer 18 are applied in phase opposition to the screen grids 15, 16 of the pair of valves 1, 2 of a multivibrator circuit. Their amplitude may be varied by a rheostat 21 shunting the secondary winding 17 of the transformer 18, the mid-point of which is connected to a tapping 14 on the anode current source 11. In a modification, Fig. 2 (not shown), the synchronizing voltages are applied to the suppressor grids of a pair of pentode valves from a winding, the centre point of which is connected to the cathodes.
