Convention date, July 15, 1932. Addition to 394,476. [Class 40 (v)] In a relaxation oscillator, in which a condenser 6 is charged through a screening- grid valve, deviation of the charging - current curve from a straight line due to secondary electrons is removed. A large meshed suppressor grid 11 between the anode 12 and the screening-grid 4 of the valve is given a potential 13 near that of the cathode and below that 5 of the screening-grid.
