Abstract
465,327. Automatic guns. GOBIERNO DE LOS ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS. July 29, 1935, No. 20969/36. Convention date, July 28, 1934. Divided out of 465,217. [Class 119] A gun barrel 1 is releasably secured to the gun casing 3 by a wedge 8 which is inserted and removed by a lever 10 having a pin-and-slot connection with the wedge. The lever has a projection 12 engaging a fixed shoulder 13 to force the wedge inwardly when the lever is turned to the position shown, and a cam surface 11 to release the wedge when the lever is turned outwardly. The lever carries a leaf spring 18 one end of which presses the wedge to locking position the other end controlling a sliding catch 17 for locking the lever against the breech casing.
