455,299. Windscreen-cleaners. LUCAS, Ltd., J., and MASON, S. A., Great King Street, Birming- ham. April 17, 1935, No. 11828. [Class 138 (i)] The oscillatory arm a of a windscreen-cleaner is slotted to receive a perforated tongue piece d projecting from the wiper blade c, the parts being secured together by a cotter which is made wholly or partly of rubber and acts, in the outof - service position of the cleaner, as a stop to prevent the arm a from disfiguring the body work of the vehicle. The cotter e shown is made wholly of rubber, but a split or other metal cotter provided at one end with a rubber sheath may be used.
