[Class 7 (ii)] In a two-stroke engine cylinder, two scavenging streams, which enter the cylinder tangentially by parallel ports 10, are guided by piston baffles 14 round the cylinder head where they unite ; they flow out through a sloping groove 15 in the piston face and radial ports 11.
