Abstract

426,202. Piston rings ; cylinders. BUHLER, G., 12, L³tzowgasse, Vienna. Sept. 25, 1933, No. 26389. Convention date, Sept. 23, 1932. [Class 122 (i)] The piston rings and the cylinder wall are made of superficially hardened or nitrided steel and hard drawn, compressed and homogenized bronze respectivelyor alternatively the piston ring is made of bronze and the cylinder wall of nitrided steel. The piston ring has a bearing- surface profile having a central cylindrical zone flanked on either side by conical surfaces. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 19707 /13 and 233,401, [both in Class 122 (i)].
