Abstract

419,541. Spray-producers ; nozzles. ALLEN, J. W., 345, Gray's Inn Road, London. June 7, 1933, No. 16381. [Class 69 (iii).] A spray nozzle more particularly for viscous liquids of the kind in which liquid is admitted through a tangential passage 16 into a conical whirl chamber 17 having an externally recessed outlet 19 is provided with an axial pin having a sharply tapered part 22 and less tapered part 23. The pin is screwed at 20 to permit adjustment. The preferred angles of the internal chamber 17 is 60‹, the external recess 19, 125‹, the point 22 of the pin, 55‹, and the shaft 23, 5‹.
