[Class 137.] A ventilator fitting comprises a number of flat rings A which may be supported at the mouth of a duct B through which air enters or is withdrawn, the coaxial rings being spaced apart so that the external diameter of the first ring is approximately equal to the internal diameter of the air duct, and the external diameter of each succeeding ring is approximately the same diameter as the internal diameter of the ring immediately preceding it. By proportioning the internal diameter of each ring relative to the external diameter of the succeeding ring below it, the direction of discharge of the air can be varied, and an inflow of air induced through the space between the lower rings.
