[Class 80 (i).] In epicyclic friction gearing comprising two series of rolling elements arranged between inner and outer race rings, the outer rings o<1>, 0<2> being secured within a casing i, and in which the rolling elements of the first series s<1> are engaged by a driving cage a<1> while the inner race ring f<1> of that series is connected to a cage a<2> engaging the rolling elements of the second series s<2>, the inner race ring f<2> of which is connected to a driven member j, the cage a<2> has a slotted extension b expanded by means of a taper plug e within the split race ring f <1> so as to apply pressure to the rolling elements. The driven member j has a similar extension b expanded within the split ring f<2>. The rings f<1>, f<2> are secured in position by rings g threaded on the extensions b. More than two series of rolling. elements may be used.
