[Class 12 (i).] In conical-roller bearings or epicyclic friction gearing having an abut-. ment on the outer race as described in the parent Specification, a groove 16 and flange 15 are formed on the rollers at the smaller end and the abutment 17 works in the groove. End thrust is applied to the rollers by means of a screw ring 20.
