Abstract

713,587. Toothed gearing. PORSCHE, F. May 20, 1952 [Aug. 8, 1951], No. 12708/52. Class 80 (1) A double toothed sliding gear wheel for variable speed gears is fabricated from t w c wheels 4<SP>1</SP>, 5<SP>1</SP> and a connecting member 6. The member 6 may be made of tubing or of rolled sheet metal and is pressed into annular recesses 7, 8 of conical form. This construction facilitates the formation of teeth on the wheel 5<SP>1</SP> and results in a saving of material by reducing the machining necessary.
