389,715. Funnels ; filling bottles. BECK, H., 13, Nachtigallenstrasse, Meiningen, Germany. July 21, 1932, No. 20617. Convention date, Aug. 5, 1931. [Class 125 (ii).] Apparatus for filling with liquid opaque or covered containers, such as accumulators, through a discharge spout comprises a levelindicating tube which is adapted to dip into the liquid in the container, the upper end of the tube being then closed, e.g. by the thumb, to retain in the tube the column of liquid that rises therein. As shown, on a funnel 1 is arranged a tube 2, which may be provided with a movable indicator or scale. The upper end of the tube may be provided with a manometer. The tube may be arranged inside the funnel spout. As shown in Fig. 3, an indicating tube 2 may be fitted to a discharge 'tube 7 leading from a reservoir 9.
