385,463. Thermal switches. SCHMIDT, G., 41, Regentesselaan, Oegstgeest, near Leiden, and WEBER, S. T. H., 9, Sterrenwacht, Leiden, Holland. Feb. 4, 1932, No. 3372. [Class 38 (v).] A thermal switch comprises a bimetallic strip d wound as a conical spring and secured at one end to a metal plate d<1> adapted to contact with the heated body. 'The plate d<1> together with a curved plate d4 and a flat plate d<6> forms a box surrounding the strip. A contact on the strip co-operates with a fixed contact. In a modification, two bimetallic strips carrying cooperating contacts are secured at one end to a metal plate.
