Abstract

Iron and steel containing more than the usual amounts of phosphorus are improved by the addition of copper during the production of the steel. The copper in the finished steel may amount to 0,15 per cent or more. Deoxidizing agents such as silicon, aluminium, titanium, &c. may be used.
