[Class 79 (iii).] A forwardly hinged engine bonnet or cowling a on a motor vehicle is pivoted at its lower front corners a<1> to the chassis longitudinals c or to brackets b thereon and, at its upper rear edge is adapted to be secured to the lower edge of a windscreen g depending from the front end h of the vehicle cap, a bevelled fillet e attached to the bonnet edge being adapted to be drawn into engagement with the correspondingly bevelled lower edge e<1> of the windscreen frame f by means of one or more bolts i with wing-nuts i<1>.
