[Class 36.] In a multiway conduit for electric cables a conduit at the end of a line, or a series of such conduits at the end of a line, is provided or are each provided, with a spigot portion formed with barrels splayed out from the longitudinal centre line of the conduits. In the construction shown, a six-way conduit has a spigot portion formed with two rows of three barrels each, the barrels b, c, d, e being splayed as shown. The remaining barrels on either side of the barrel e are inclined downwards and outwards.
