Abstract
439,136. Cable conduits ; tiles. WALMSLEY, H. J. D. L., Baldwin House, Arkwright Street, Nottingham. Oct. 3, 1934, No. 28319. [Class 87 (i)] [See also Group XXXVI] Tiles or slabs for covering or protecting underground cables are connected by S-shaped links 2 which hook into holes 3 and lie flush in grooves 5, 6. For curves, the tiles are made with converging abutting edges and flared grooves 5. The upper faces of the tiles may be flat, sloping, or curved, and the lower faces may be concave without the grooves 6.
