March 4, 1930, No. 7052. Convention date, March 8, 1929. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 144 (i).] A disc wheel g is detachably secured by bolts permanently carried by the brake drum b. In the form shown in Fig. 1, the wheel centre and the brake drum are formed with apertured coned portions g<1>, d, the nuts h being correspondingly coned. In a modification, the metal of the disc may be distorted during the screwing home of the nuts. Fig. 2 shows a modification in which the cupped portions g<1> of the disc are distorted into engagement with the shoulder e<1> on the bolt by the plain nuts h.
