Abstract
345,128. Delivering liquid in measured quantities. HARLEY, C. B., 60, Holmdene Avenue, Herne Hill, London. April 16, 1930, No. 12031. [Class 106 (v).] Suction is used both for supplying liquid to and delivering it from a measuring chamber P. A threeway valve B places the chamber in communication with either the liquid supply pipe or delivery pipe M. A right-angled passage in the valve plug places the pipe S leading to the suction pump into communication either with the pipe I opening into the top of the measuring chamber or, by way of a pipe N, with the top of the bottle which is pressed against the seating O. The amount delivered is adjusted by means of the rod F attached to the tube G. A float J by closing the air pipe I limits the amount of liquid entering the chamber.
