[Class 110 (i).] A device for connecting the impellers of a centrifugal pump in parallel or in series comprises a sliding member 5 which throws open annularly arranged inlet openings as shown or connects the pressure space 3 of impeller 1 with the inlet opening of impeller 2. The member 5 is operated by a member 8.
