Stays.-A stay for a casement window cornbined with a screen adapted for operation without disturbing the screen comprises an arcuate arm 25 attached to the window sash and a pivoted stay 23 thereon adapted to pass through a notch in the screen frame and to be adjustably secured bv means of notches 26 of suitably varied inclination to the edge of a box-like housing C on the window frame.
