Abstract

328,593. Cividanes, C., and Icilma Co., Ltd., (form,erly International Icilma Trading Co., Ltd.). Jan. 25, 1929. Screw cap-stopper.-Relates to closures for jars &c. comprising a screw cap-like member the edge of which seats itself on a packing in a recess in the receptacle neck. According to the invention, the cap-like member 1 is adapted to be seated substantially in the centre of a rubber &c. packing 8 in a groove 7 in the receptacle 5. A seal of paraffin wax may be provided in the groove 7. The groove is located within an integral projection 10 on the receptacle neck. A washer 2 of cork &c. may be provided between the inner face of the cap and the receptacle. The groove 7 may be V-shaped in section.
