Abstract

487,191. Screw stoppers. MORRIS, T. E. Sept. 2, 1937, No. 23982. [Class 125 (iii)] A screw stopper 1 for a bottle 2 is formed with a cap 3 fitting over and around the neck or mouth of the bottle, a ring of cork or like sealing material 5 being provided in the annular recess 4. The cork 5 is slightly conical so as to extend into the mouth of the bottle. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 2296/08, [Class 125], and 247,483, [Class 125 (iii)].
