Crown corks'; sealing devices for stoppers.-A sealing device for cans &c. for containing petrol &c. comprises a ' crown cork ' C covered by a metal guard D formed with depending portions or legs, through perforations in which a sealing wire E is threaded, the wire being secured in a V-shaped groove B in the ferrule or neck of the container.
