Abstract
325,703. Busch, H. Feb. 27, 1929. Double-door fastenings; catches yielding to pull or pressure.-In a fastening for double doors in which a spring-pressed sliding member f on one door engages a fixed member g and is prevented from disengagement while the second door is closed by the end k of the member f abutting against a metal plate m on the edge of the second door, the said member f, as shown in Fig. 3, has a knob e with two surfaces which as the door is opened or closed slide past the fixed pin g. Alternatively, as shown in Fig. 4, the member f has two end faces f<1> which slide into a fixed hook g<1>. The end k is adjustable.
