Reamers.-An adjustable reamer comprises a body a slotted to receive blades b and bored internally to accommodate a screwed tapered pin c by which the blades are adjusted. The blades have bevelled ends and are locked by conically flared nuts and lock nuts d, e, screwing on the exterior of the body. The pitch of the screw on the pin c is of one millimeter and the ratio of the taper is 1 to 10, and in order to render adjustments of the blades of one hundredth of a millimeter possible. a millimeter scale f is provided in a slot on the pin and a central line on the scale is adapted to co-operate with a circular scale on the end of the body a.
