Swivelling-wheel hubs.-A three-wheeled portable crane is steered and slued by swivelling the single rear wheel C, which is carried in a swivelling wheel-fork E and is driven by an electric motor G mounted above it. The wheel-fork E is journaled in a bracket a<6> on the vehicle frame, and the motor casing G is fixed either to the bracket a<6> or to the projecting end of the stem e<2> of the wheel-fork. The fork is turned for steering and slueing by a steering wheel and gearing h<1> - - h<5>.
