Abstract

301,929. Esau, A., and Lorenz Akt.- Ges., C. Dec. 8, 1927, [Convention date]. Thermionic generators.- Substances are treated with an oscillating magnetic field of a wave length of ten metres or less, for such purposes as promoting chemical reactions, separating dust from gases &c. A thermionic valve 1 is employed, and the oscillations produced by a circuit containing the capacity between the grid and anode and an inductance 5 through which the substance to be treated flows, and coupled with a grid control circuit containing an inductance 6 and the cathode 4. Several such circuits may be employed in series or parallel. Specifications 279,821 and 301,930 are referred to.
