Carriers, attaching to belts.-A conveyer for conveying work-pieces, e.g. shoes, between different working machines comprises an endless belt 1 and a number of carriers 2 which rest on the upper edge of the belt. Each carrier has at one end a receptacle 3 for the article and at the other a counterweight 4 which maintains the carrier when unloaded in the position shown in full lines. In this position the weighted arm strikes against a pivoted stop 6 on the machine and the movement of the carrier is arrested until an article is placed in the receptacle 3.
