Tread bands.-A non-skid device comprises chain elements 6 fitted with treadplates, 1, the ends of the chains being connected to eyes 8, to which adjustable turnbuckles 9 are fitted as shown. To facilitate assemblage, one of the chain elements may be attached to its eye 8 by a spring link 14.
