524,716. Wheel tyres. KENNEDY, D. S. Feb. 4, 1939, No. 3743. [Class 144 (ii)] A non-skid device which can be mounted without jacking-up the wheel comprises three pairs of tread shoes c, c connected by chains b forming a triangular structure at each side of the wheel, one of the chains being fitted with a disconnectable coupling, such, e.g., as that described in Specification 350,230, [Group XXV]. The tread members may consist of chains or, as shown, may be twisted metal strips of the kind described in Specification 465,639, fitted in protective straps g such as are described in Specification 510,977.
