Trellis and lattice work.-Plane or curved structural-lattice work, of the kind built up of similar parallelograms the sides of which such as ab, cd abut those of adjacent parallelograms near the ends thereof, is provided with additional or web members x which are aligned with the main sides L and produce a complete system of continuous lattice work. In metallic lattice work, the parts may be connected by angle cleats, or as shown in Fig. 3 the main members N and web members F may be connected by bolting the offset web of the latter to an extension of one main member projecting through the web of the other main member. Wooden members are connected by bolted scarfed joints. The members may meet at a right or any other desired angle.
