283,371. Harrison, A. H. March 24, 1927. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Kinematograph apparatus.-A box 12 for storing a kinematograph film or other strip 9 in folds comprises two openings 13, each provided with a pair of feed rollers 14, 21 and means for putting either pair of rollers out of action in accordance with which of the openings is being used as an inlet. The rollers 14 are driven by belt gearing 20, oppositely cut worms 16, and worm wheels, from a motor 11; the rollers 21 are driven from the rollers 14 by gears, and are carried by arms 23, pivoted at 24, and capable of being pulled by springs 27 to produce a gripping .engagement between the rollers and film, or of being held by pins or other means to prevent gripping engagement. Guide rollers 28 are so placed as to hold the film clear of the inoperative pair of rollers. The operative rollers may draw a film in front of the condenser 3 of a projector and push it into the box 12.
