Abstract
273,057. English Electric Co., Ltd., and Pooley, A. M., May 11, 1926. Fusible cut-outs.-A bridge carrier for a fuse cartridge comprises a channel member 4, to contain the cartridge, provided with a handle 1 and carrying contacts 5, 6, one or both contacts having means such as a screw 9 for applying pressure to the ,end of the cartridge. The contacts are secured bv two pairs of screws 13 passing through the thickened walls of the member 4 and entering diagonally placed lateral lugs on the contacts. The contacts may be enclosed by side walls 2, 3 with or without an end wall cemented thereto, or the enclosing walls may be formed on the base. One of the contacts has an aperture 8 to permit an indicator on the cartridge to be seen. A similar aperture is provided in the end wall if fitted.
