Abstract

534,700. Fuse boards ; fusible cut-outs. HOPE, V. Sept. 13, 1939, No. 25716. [Class 38 (i)] - A fuse base having the contacts held in recesses between two parts 11, 12 of the base as described in Specification 365,518, one of the contacts having a socket to embrace a busbar has this socket 25 located alongside the contact 24 so that it lies either above or below the fuse base instead of behind it. The cable socket 30 of the other contact 29 may be similarly arranged. A series of such bases are threaded upon a rectangular bar 32 supported between the end walls 33 of a casing, and distance pieces 39 may be inserted between the bases and the walls. The bases are clamped by means of screws 37 threaded into a ring 35 and pressing on a flanged washer 38.
