Abstract

266,386. Laguesse, F. Feb. 22. 1926, [Convention date]. Channels in valves.-A piston valve 7 of an internal-combustion engine is lubricated by a pipe 21 which is arranged inside a bore 20 of the valve and supplies oil to a radial bore 22; the end of the pipe 21 is oblique so that flow of the lubricant can be adjusted by axial rotation of the pipe. The valve may have several bores 22 and in this case the pipe 21 has a toothed end.
