Lubricant c!iffused in gas.-In an engine of the type described in Specification 121,977, [Class 7 (vi), Internal-combustion engines, Valves &c. for], lubrication of the valve mechanism is effected by oil-laden air circulated by the piston. The casing 3 enclosing the valve mechanism is open to the crank casing through an orifice 4 and through a second orifice 5 surrounding a valve-lever 6. An air-hole is provided on the casing 3 at 7.
