Abstract
232,928. Barbarou, M. J. B. April 22, 1924, [Convention date]. Channels and reservoirs in bearings and internalcombustion engine parts.-Oil supplied under pressure through a conduit d to a chamber c adjacent the end of the cam shaft a of an internal - combustion or like engine passes to the interior of the shaft through a radial hole g which registers intermittently with an arcuate recess e in the bearing b, the recess e being always in communication with the chamber c. The oil passes from the interior of the shaft to the parts to be lubricated, and excess oil collected in a casing h returns through a passage i and a tube j to the source of supply.
